 Time-travelling forth... into the future: The very essence of Befallen Borders is crumbling. Nothing is as it seems or once was anymore. Ayonowyn, the revered leader of Befallen Borders, assasinated, leaving her daughter, Reia, on her own. Reia is a young, three-year-old, clueless heir; as she knows nothing about government and assisting the hopeless equines of Befallen. Both Cysiro- Reia's father- and Skelter- her uncle- have not shown themselves in many seasons.

What is happening to the once-strong Befallen Borders? Will Reia be weak without support, or are the Befallen Borders inhabitants going to help her even when they catch wind of the Ayonowyn's murderous, supposedly deceased uncle returning for retribution, aided by supporters in the most unexpected places? Can Taurus knock the once-infallible nation onto its knees- Will the bull prove right for once?
